Verse 1: In the last World War, the Lambells moved west They worked the land near Dubbo and made a family nest. One son ran the farm, one a Country store The store owner found a soulmate in this Lambell Son Verse 2: The Lady and Lambell, never had much money Always spending more than they could ever make. The Lady told Lambell, her Ex stole her money, So Lambell planned revenge for her saddened woes. Chorus: Lock (lock them up) Lock (lock them up) in a cage in the woods Bind naked with barbed wire, tortured 'til they pay up Lock (lock them up) Lock (lock them up) in a cage in the woods Then steal all of their money, and their houses too Verse 3: Calling in some favours from some shady minions They bungled a Point-blank shootout and found themselves in jail. Lambell goes to Tamworth meets the "Debt Collector" Where He outlined his very gruesome murder plan. Verse 4: Get his partner’s Ex, and her brother-in-law Put them in a cage and make them fight for life Tortured till they signed over six mill Finish them off and dump them in some land fill. (Chorus) Verse 5: The Debt Collector, an undercover Cop So Lambell went to jail for the murder plot. The Lady went free, moved on to another, They ran a motel in Dubbo before moving South. Verse 6: She made new friends, to pour out her woes, So they'd adopt her cause, just as Lambell chose. The friendships strained, and they got wise, They woke up to her lies and cut-off all their ties. (Chorus) Outro: This story of Lambell, gave the friends relief, They weren’t the only ones this lady brought to grief.
